In Alabama, and I imagine most states are similar, there are laws against blocking traffic, but they are minor infractions. Truthfully, the resulting arrest would not be worth the potential harm to an officer or lawsuit from harming a protestor. It's hard but sometimes you have to sit back and look at the big picture and weigh risk vs. reward. I did read today that one state passed a law that makes blocking traffic a felony. That makes the risk vs. reward situation different. Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
