I got a different flextone BC model that I use throughout the rest of season. I'd say as many as 50% of the bucks I've killed in past 30yrs have been brought in by a grunt tube and/or rattling. Light rattling with aggressive short grunts mixed in are a deadly combination on early season bachelor packs as they are just beginning to break up and establish dominance. We’re not dead. At the time he was messing around making them in his garage, now started a business. Has a very deep sound and very realistic. I have no affiliation with the company, but check out Old Crow Custom Calls. He is in Pensacola. Military guy who is doing this out of his garage.
