I rode past this today and laughed out loud. The city wouldn't allow him to develop the property the way he was wanting to citing "It would probably become low-income housing"

So what does the man do?

Makes it their worst case scenario under the property's current zoning. Absolutely hilarious. Notice the tires on top of the trailer's roof.

Look at the stack of tires to the right. We've seen that several times and wondered what he was doing...Thanks for clarifying.
It is funny

Become low income housing? Kinda like the 30 new apartment complexes will be in 20 years. It's going to be bad.

Nevermind, It wasn't because of low income housing. It was about traffic.

Go to the 2:50:00 mark and watch him say "Be careful what you wish for"

Now he's going to have the Health Dept. on him for the mosquito breeding ground he is creating with the tires. Fire Marshal also since they are considered a fire hazard too.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The current zoning of the parcel allows for vehicle repair shops, tire shops, etc.

Plus, the ADEM is a joke anyways.

The Links is now a section 8 community. These "student" off-campus apartments are all failing and becoming section 8. That's why property values keep going down in the 69-South area

He's a smart fella, no matter his intentions. I know developer in Pace FL that wanted to put in a new subdivision. Neighbors raised hell, with the support of another developer. They claimed it was "agricultural ". He subsequently bought 2500 pigs and left them out there in the summer on about 15 acres. Property got rezoned soon thereafter. You have to pick your battles when you deal with disgustedly wealthy folks.

not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

That's funny. They don't get rich by being stupid.

Ole Stan pulled his item from the agenda prior to the meeting. It is assumed that he will do this a few more times and try to get people to not show up for the meeting so he can try to push it through. He has openly stated that he "owns" two council members from large donations to their last elections.
