To me its a waiste of time until all the leaves drop. I cant see anything. Then the numbers are not like they use to be. Use to be good huntin a few years ago. Now its a lot of work with little pay off. About like the deer hunting there. To me it has a very healthy population of rattlers. And hunters. I wont pig hunt until december or later.

We were thing of going to mobile delta but don't have a boat so we scratched that after looking at the map. Guess we will try the Black Warrior hunt and see how it goes.

Hog population is way down which is a good thing. I won't say it's a waste of time anytime you can get out in the woods is a good day.

I think the ones on Wheeler contracted lead poisoning. Or so it was implied to me.

Are you saying that the completely eliminated hogs off a 35,000 acre NWR? If that were possible I don't think we would have a hog problem

I haven't heard about them in years, so... it seems like it.

The area the hogs were in gave the advantage to the exterminators no where for them to run.

Has anyone gotten this year's permit with the date of the hunt yet?
