Saying I am new to turkey hunting is the understatement of the year. I have never even tried to kill one. With that being said, I believe it is time to change that. All I have to hunt one with is a youth 20 gauge that I got when I was a small boy. Ive heard that people use them with hand loaded shells.... I have no business trying to attempt that at this point. Another factor to add to the mix is that I only have access to national forest land (I know this should make it extremely hard but Im ready for the challenge). My goal for this coming up season is to atleast obtain a very basic understanding of the sport (actually killing one would leave me speechless). I have read the thread for first time hunters but if any of yall have any specific advice or any kind of help for my unique situation please share. Thank you all

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Contact lawnman on here & buy his book; BEST investment you could make for yourself.

Try the federal heavy weight 7's This. They are plenty deadly to 40 yards, probably further.
