I'm pretty sure it was David Ellis, and he did it all on public land.

David's a member on here, don't know how often he gets on this time of year. Dave Owens finished his last year, and David is working on round 2. Pretty amazing accomplishments from a couple of extraordinary turkey killers.

I know a guy that is trying to do the same thing. It doesn't appeal to me, but I could think of worse things to do.

If you hunt public land it's not bad at all. Most people just go back to the same proven out of state places each year though.

That is remarkable but one has to wonder what a guy like that does for a living. My paltry 10 vacation days per year wouldn't afford a quarter of the traveling that guy does. Props to him for making it work.

Definitely would need the vacation time, but the hunting part is relatively cheap. He's living out of his truck and hunting public land.

No telling what he does or doesn't do 😅. I'm cynical I know. But I wish I was able to do that so deep down in just jealous.
