Yep, I am one of those that typically always wears a harness. Stupid me did not this past weekend and a strap on the top sections of steps broke. I jumped out from about 15-16'. Luckily all I did was break all 5 metatarsals in my foot. In a cast for about 8 weeks and will make the early season in TN rough. And I never even tried to get in stand as there was not a stand on the tree. All in all it could have been MUCH worse and I am blessed that it was just a foot. WEAR THE HARNESS, you never know when it is going to happen!
