I was raised on these, she's a tiny woman but these little biscuits will melt in your mouth with a piece of cheese or anything you put in them.

Looks just like my granny's biscuits. Made in an iron skillet.

Will she share her recipe. Maybe you could video it and post it.

Looks much like my mother made when I was a kid. Wasn't often that she made them, so they were always a treat.

Man, looks like my mothers! I bet she doesn't use a recipe. My mother had a Tupperware bowl in the frig with flour in it and she just put the ingredients in the bowl and with one hand made a lump of dough. The rest of the flour was put back, dry as a bone. She would kill me with telling you how to cook something. Typical conversation, "mom, how much salt?" Oh you know, enough. Or how long to cook it? Her response, "Until its done".

Those look delicious. But are they upside down. Looks like the bottom of the biscuit. Makes me want to grab a jar of honey and some ham.

Man alive! I can taste the flour, butter and salt. The crisp tart outside followed by the warm, soft, with just a hint of sweetness, doughy center....have mercy!

Two thumbup on those!

It doesn't really have to be a lost art. I can make biscuits just as good as one of my grandmothers and better than the other one. Never use a recipe either. But I can get out if practice if it's been a while.

Mine made Biscuits, fried squirrel and fresh honey. Oh man it was great!

I make hand made biscuits too,and that's the thing, you can make them better if you do it every day or at least often.I don't know why but you can get out of practice and it does make a difference.

Oh my!!! I love good ole homemade biskits. I tried to make some one time and I failed miserably but the kids had one hell of a time pitching them to each other and hitting them with the baseball bat.

It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
