An "IED" in the box? LOL Like this one? This turned into a big legal mess. It wasn't on public land, but on private land the old man (in this vid) said he "always had access to cross" or use-hunt or whatever. The landowner disagreed, had asked-told him to not cross-use it, and then this happened. Then ask him for the money for a new lock.

If you really wanted to do anything about it, you would've done it when you had him on the phone(at least told him you had him on camera). The next logical step is to bitch about it on the internet. Since that's been taken care of, just enjoy your Saturday. Lol

This will take some detective work and may not be possible or easy.
print picture of him from trail cam.
Address and stamp envelope to his disability case worker.
Take picture of picture half in and out of envelope with address and case worker name legible.
Take picture of envelope held just outside mail drop box opening.
Send pictures to him with invitation to stay out of your woods from now on. Some of you guys are damn geniuses.  ...

2. He lied about messing with your camera, SD card, etc.

I want to know how he got the pics back off the sd card X2! Recovery software. It's basically free these days. Used to cost a thousand bucks or so. When images are deleted they still exist, they are allowed to be overwritten. Software Is so good it can go back several generations to recover images. Sandisk had a free recovery download at one time.

I hate to defend the shucks ass that messed with your camera, but hell it was PUBLIC land. In my time hunting WMA's and national forest I have come across many blinds, cameras, and tree stands. I have never messed with any, but I have every right to. Absolutely nothing you leave behind on public land is yours. Why would you expect otherwise? I don't think of it this way, but in a lot of ways, public land hunting is a big competition....many people fighting for the same deer. Don't get pissed or feel screwed over because other people are competing in the same game you choose to play. I park my truck in a public lot and you don't have any right to mess with it. It's on public land.
