Luckily for me since I am old and fairly wore out I don't need much more acreage.I do a full loop around my place and I am ready for a nap. I am really lucky in that my place bears little resemblance to a pine plantation.I do have 120 acres of planted pines but all of it, other than 20 acres of 3 year old clear cut, is 18-30 years old, thinned at least once and burned fairly regularly. A creek runs diagonally through the place and other than a 20 acre pasture and 5 acres of food plots the rest of the place is mature mixed Oaks/Pines.Even better the 300 acres to my south looks like a freakin QDMA magazine article and the owner does not kill much of anything. There was not a deer or turkey shot there last year.And the 200 acres south of him is BIG timber that is not hunted period.There were 4 each year killed on me the last two years and 5 shot and 4 recovered the year before with just week-end hunting so I think if I was up there full time killing a limit would be pretty likely if I put in the time.

I've got 40 acres in Jackson County that had 4 turkeys killed off of it last year and I have 80 acres in Lebanon, TN that I could kill 4 birds on every year if I would just drive up there and hunt it. But I definitely have more land than that to hunt, those places just produce every year

If you are willing to pay what he wants there is no reason why he shouldn't . Why does he care it's same amount of money and less people to deal with. Deal with one person vs 2 or 4 whatever the ad was for . Give me one person to deal with any day vs 2-4
