I've had about 50 doves for the past week or so. Got plenty of food out for them and fresh disced areas.
There is a pretty big shoot happening about a mile north of my field on I think opening day. So if it were you would you go ahead and shoot on opening day or wait and shoot Sunday on the potential of some more birds coming to your field after being shot at on Saturday?

Take the gamble. Depending on other habitat in the area, they might just consider your place a safe haven. At the least, wait til Sunday. Just my meager opinion.
