Beautiful bird, and I like the pose you chose. Pintails have been my unicorn bird ever since I started duck hunting. I have killed several hens and whiffed on a few drakes, just haven't been able to put a nice drake on the wall yet. i kill pintails every year nearly. Black ducks and wigdeons have been impsossible for me to find in the last 10 years. Ive killed em, but not in ages

Extremely nice mount, really like how it shows off the plumage of the pintail. I'm in need of a Black duck bad. Killed a many of them up until I buried that last one I killed. Buried with my first duck dog since it was one of his last retrieves. Thought that wouldn't be an issue, that was over 10 years ago.  It will happen when I least expect it.  Good luck to all those still hunting their unicorn. Maybe this year will be the year.

Juice, back bout 6-7 yrs ago I could of put you on some black and widgeons pretty easy. We was killing quite a few of both. Been harder to come by in this area for some reason.
Me and Jeremy got a few swamps we hunt that can have em. If I run across any scouting those swamps this yr I'll give you a call, prob be a quick notice tho like the night before.
