Summer is prime time to operate cameras on mineral sites. I use Spartan GoCam cellular cameras to monitor properties. It allows us to monitor sites without disturbing bucks. It also beats driving to four states just to pull SD cards. Here's how you can get a real time view of a Spartan GoCam in action. Follow these instructions to get free mobile access to several GoCams. 1. Install the free GoWireless camera mgt app on your mobile device. 2. Select "Camera Management" from the dropdown menu. 3. Click on the + symbol in upper right corner 4. Enter Account ID: 734913597 5. Enter Access Code: co-op3co-op2016 6. Click the orange "Authenticate" tab at bottom of page. 7. Photo gallery should begin to load automatically.

Yes. The camera gives you three ways to view pics. One option is through the free GoWireless phone app so you check them whenever you want. Another option is through the GoWireless web photo gallery is private login credentials. The third option is to program the camera to text/email the pics in real time to your device. Actually, the camera can send pics to up to 20 mobile numbers or email addresses.

The menu does not allow for different viewing options for certain days. Think of it this way. You can change any settings remotely that you can change with the camera in your hands. So you can set the default to text/email only or GoWireless only (app). You could swap it back and forth remotely as often as you want but you can't program it to toggle those settings on a schedule.

Cameras are made specific to Verizon, ATT or US Cellular networks. We sell mostly Verizon and it costs $5/mo to add it onto your existing phone plan.

So, if I set it up through Verizon and had the pics going to the app, could my dad download the app from his at&t phone and see the pics also? Yes. You have three options. One is to share your account login so your dad has full access to edit/delete pics. I don't recommend that. The better option that most people use is the guest access. You can create a special login and password for guests to view the photo gallery from the free phone app. No limit to how many guests you allow. Guests can download the free app and view the same thing you see. They just can't edit/delete pics. The third option is useful when the camera is being used more for security surveillance and you want to see the photos immediately (basically real time with about 2 min delay). You can assign up to 20 recipients to get the photos immediately as the camera uploads. Example: A Spartan camera is monitoring the main gate while you are away, and nobody should be on the property. You want to know immediately if somebody goes through that gate so you can call the sheriff while they are on the premises. We have made multiple trespass and one poaching case on our properties with this setup. Game warden busted two night hunters on my GA lease. They kept asking how he knew where they were. He said the landowner (me) has cameras watching from satellites. Trailer park rumor mill took that and ran with it. LOL

The camera stores pics in HD but only transmits a low res thumbnail version to your phone. Average pic uses about 150-200kb of data. At 200kb per pic, it would take roughly 5,000 pics to use 1GB. Let's say there are five photos that you want to see in more detail. The app lets you request an HD version of them. Next time the camera is triggered, it gets that instruction from the server and uploads the 5 HD pics you requested to your phone app.
