I was driving my work truck out of Greystone into Greystone Legacy about 2 weeks ago and watched a fawn blast out into the road about 50 yds away from me and started gettin' it as fast as those goofy little legs would carry it right down the middle of the road away from me. It was hilarious. Those legs looked like they were going to fold up at any moment. It would start to go left and then go right over and over like it had just landed on the surface of the moon and didn't know which way to go. Went 50 yds or so and finally broke left and was gone. It was the funniest thing.

We ran some outa our plots last week when we were mowing. I think the first one came out from under the tractor. After that we rode all the plots with the 4 wheelers and ran them out before I went in with the tractor.

central ala,
Caught one this week and been seeing them about 3 weeks now. But that's spread over several counties. The one I caught, if you want to call it that, came running across a field and got hung in a hog wire fence. Took him back where he came from.

I had one barely avoid the bush hog today and another one did the same last week. Both were tiny

Today Mrs Biscuit saw one get across three lanes of a four lane before it got caught by somebody's grill. It upset her delicate sensibilities

Went to Mulberry wma sunday evening for a hog hunt with the nephew
and got to see a doe that just dropped a fawn. when I first saw her she was cleaning the fawn off. When it finally stood up it was the funniest thing to see those spindely little legs trying to balance its body. First time I've ever witnessed that.

BamBam almost ran over one with my bushhog 3 weeks ago. It got up and out of the way just in time.

Guy bushhogging in Bullock said he flushed one up last week. Thankfully it made it out.

Seeing lots of these size tracks all over our roads. Don't remember ever seeing as many as we are now. Maybe I just didn't pay attention.

central ala,
I am seeing a tremendous amount of fawns this year. Way more than in the past. We either have more fawns, coyotes are getting less, or its just a coincidence that I'm in the right place at the right time. I'm not reading much into just one year of seeing more.

Starting to see them regularly now. Had a pic of three with two does on this weeks pull and saw twins behind the house when I went to feed them today.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

foxes, esp greys don't usually bother fawns. A big male red fox might take a small newborn but doubt it. Your problem is yotes.
