Pretty neat the worked it out to accept mini 30 mags as well. Pretty cool truck, brush, 4 wheeler gun imo.

Pretty cool. I kinda want one. Cheap plinker and enough for hogs or deer.

Great gun for a youngster to start deer hunting with.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

They've been offering this gun in a 300Blk. I would think this would be very similar to that. What am I missing?

Just another option for folks that want a bolt gun chambered in the same caliber as their semi auto. I have a buddy that bought a CZ in 7.62 because he had a mini 30. Had this been available, he would have probably bought it instead since the mag will interchange as well

7.62 ammo might be a little more available and cheaper.
I'm like you. I'd think .300 BO and 7.62 very similar performance-wise.

I think it boils down to whether or not you want a lot of options in bullet selection and like to reload, or do you want cheap plinking ammo. 300blk has way more bullet options and is a reloaders friend. Can load from 90gr to 240gr bullets and there are alot of good hunting bullets readily available. 7.62x39 has alot less options for bullet weight and hunting projectiles. It is also not really worth reloading. However the Russian round is dirt cheap in fmj and hp offerings. Not so cheap for good hunting ammo.
Also, if you own a can, 300blk was tailor made for suppressed shooting. 7.62x39 was not and there are very little if any subsonic factory rounds for 7.62x39.
Ballistics are similar, but they are still very different. So I guess if you shoot suppressed or love reloading go 300blk, if you want cheap factory ammo and don't shoot suppressed go 7.62x39.
