He's 5'3" with extremely long arms.  LOL I don't even know anybody with a 30" draw. I've got a friend who is 6'10". Hes shooting 540g arrows at 300-310fps this year. I've seen two deer that he has a complete pass through on shoulder shots, with mechanicals.

Sounds like breaking a 2x4 when it hits them. Just curious why you shoot such light arrows pulling that much weight? He's severely under spined no matter what. The stiffest Gold Tip Pro Hunter available is a 300. He should be shooting a 200.

Am I the only one shooting a entry level cheap bow this year?

@ 20 and 30 yards I can put 3 of 3 in a Dixie cup
I hate I waited until I was 50 to start shooting a bow. I enjoy it so much,
I've been shooting for 2 1/2 months and hopefully in 10 days I'll be home to hunt my first bow season.
Work hard, have fun afterwards
