I am not a fan of rematches, but if OK State loses to OU, I really don't see any other team more worthy than Alabama.
on a side note, if Alabama does make in in through the back door and wins it, the haters will have a field day with "claims of another National Championship" I think a few folks on here might have an aneurism. I agree BP...the only concern that I have if it all does come down to another opportunity is the humam vote for Oregon. Have heard too many talking heads this week say that Bama's loss was far worse than the Oregon loss because Bama played them at home. LSU beat the tar out of them in Dallas...not sure I see their point unless it's their justification to screw the SEC, which most don't like anyhow.

The talking heads are saying that even though the Oregon/LSU game was in Dallas, it was technically a "home" game for LSU since about 75% of the stadium was LSU fans. Well, last time I checked, home field was only worth 3 points. Oregon scored a trash td with about 20 seconds left in the game to make the final score less worse than it really was...a 2 td loss instead of a 3 td loss. Regardless, I wish we had taken advantage of the scoring opportunities we had and we wouldn't have to be discussing these "scenarios".
