I have been shooting WAY more than I am used to, which has been great because I love it and I've been getting great groupings and single shots at pretty dang far yardages for me.

But...I have messed up my fletchings on some of my arrows from shooting through the target.

I've seen people talk about those quick fletch shrink wrap things, anyone used them? Are they good? Any reason they would effect accuracy at longer yardages (70+)?

I'm leaving on a hunting trip Friday, so I'm looking for a quick fix and to be able to shoot the arrows some before I leave just to make sure everything is right.

If not, I figure I can go to Marks or Field and Stream and see if they can re-fletch them for me.

It's easy to just refletch them yourself without the quick fletch. A little initial cost but if you keep shooting as much as you are now you'll save money in the long run. Plus it's enjoyable doing it yourself.

They'd get you through the season and you shouldn't see any accuracy issues. But, they won't last near as long as regular vanes though. Over time the shrink wrap part becomes brittle.

Thanks guys, that's what I figured, but always better to ask.

And again, the string is great Shaw! It's been so nice not dealing with my peep rotating, haha.

I've been going out to Oak Mountain and shooting, I've enjoyed having a little "competition" with some other guys shooting there.
