I am looking at getting a new bow. Which do you prefer and why? So many brands and so many great bows to choose from. Thanks in advance.

Go to a shop and shoot a bunch of different ones.

Yep. When you find the "one" you'll know.

I've never been to grabow outdoors but they are a sponsor here and I've read countless comments on here about them. Sounds like they will work with you until you find the right fit. If I were you and going to invest in one I'd go there and try out a variety. Just my .02.

Yes definitely check them out. GRABOW is awesome. James at the bow counter is great and will help you any way he can. Just bought my Hoyt from there and love it. They have some sweet bows in reasonable price range and they have some awesome New Breeds that I loved but just couldn't afford

I would go shoot an elite energy 35 and 32, a halon 32, a Hoyt defiant, and some of the obsession bows. Then I would pick my favorite.

For a very comfortable bow, I'd buy an elite.

If I was looking for a faster bow, I'd be looking at a halon 32 or obsession.

Lots of good advice here. I'd also have a shop double check your draw length. It's amazing the difference a 1/2in here or there will make in how a bow feels and shoots.
