If anyone is planning on coming to the Marshall county hunt, it will be held on my family's farm. The corn will be picked and we've already got a good number of birds around. I may even be running my dog for some of the hunters if they would like.

Maybe a bit more painful than before, but I understand the logic... give more folks an opportunity to take advantage of the hunts available. I know I have been guilty in years past of booking hunts on both opening and the second weekend and not being able to make one of them due to a sick kid or unforeseen conflict. I'd send a note to the organizing District but I know it was too late to allow another entrant. If there's any doubt, then there is no doubt... The gut don't never lie.
