I planted a little 1/4 acre field of chufas this year and they have done good. I was wondering if it would hurt to over seed with crimson clover to help feed deer during winter and to also build nitrogen. I'll disc chufas in the spring to try and introduce them to the few turkeys that come through. Also thought the cclover might keep the turkeys from finding them as early also.

I don't see any problem. In the past I have run our grain drill through my chufa fields and planted with wheat, oats and rye. Come turkey season you'd never know because generally around last Jan or early Feb the turkey start hammering the chufas.

You can try, but if you made chufas and have turkeys they will destroy the clover.

I planted chufas last year in a place that never had them before. Didn't make many, but they found them quickly without me doing anything.
