Just one question. How do you forge massively long sets of chains when you are frozen and dead? Thought the same thing. I guess there was a Tractor Supply just around the mountain. I thought that was BAD lame.

I thought that was BAD lame. like I explained above, that's one of the easier things to explain away....they raided/overran villages and armies of wildlings from time to time. Also, they've been around for hundreds of years so they could have scavenged them from an army hundreds of years earlier. Not nearly as far-fetched (relative to this story) as how fast Gendry got back to Eastwatch, how fast the raven flew to Dragonstone, and how fast Dany and the dragons flew back from Dragonstone to The Wall. But then, when I start over-analyzing how "realistic" all this stuff is, I remind myself that "It's a show about zombies...and dragons...and now zombie dragons".

The problem I am developing with the show is story line the Night's King and all this army of the dead didn't really pick up as much prominence until about Season 5. I know that this is what the whole story was supposed to be about in the first place but from what I understand they are ahead of the books. The next season is the last season. 6 episodes.
Do you realize how many story lines they have to wrap up in 6 episodes? Many since the beginning of the show. Seems like they would need at least 2 more seasons minimum to tie it all together and make it good with the pace they have been going all these years. If they all go to the wall and die I'll be disappointed.
6 more episodes... no way they can do that. I'm ready for disappointment with the ending. I think they tried to leave a lot of the magic and stuff out of it early on and now that's all we've got in the ending? Kinda hard to explain what I am getting at. All plots are going to have to come together with the White Walkers and end. Rather than and all those individual story lines having their own endings outside of it. The later would do the show much more justice IMO after all we've gone through watching it.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

While next season will only be 6 episodes, they will allegedly be about 2 hours each, so essentially you are talking about 6 feature length films. Also, they don't have to wrap everything up. I wouldn't put it past them to leave some story lines open-ended.

A lot of story lines can be wrapped up in a single "Red Wedding" style episode. If you can get everyone in a unified front against the Night King, battle casualties can (and likely will) solve many loose ends.
Heck, 1 zombie dragon flying over the wall could napalm all of Winterfell in less than 5 minutes. Depending on who is home, that clears a bunch by itself.
