I just drove to Target and bought a lighting USB adapter for downloading photos from a card reader. Got home plugged it into my Iphone and it gives a message that the device requires to much power and can not used with me Iphone.
What specifically are you guys using to download photos to your Iphone. Maybe this thing would work with a laptop or ipad but not with Iphone. I have lost my card reader and I do not want to have to buy 17 new memory cards. HELP!!!

That is what I have but it states "requires more power than allowed".

Which iPhone do you have and is your operating system up to date? There was a point in the past where these would only work on an iPad.
