Tony Reynolds spit his thumb open like a banana peel from tip to joint in a shop accident. He's having surgery this afternoon to try and save it.

Talked to Tony on the phone as they were wheeling him in to emergency surgery. He is sleeping now (Post-Op) and will be in the hospital at least over night. The surgery went well and I will update in the morning when I talk to him. Tony is like Kin to me so we are praying hard. If you go to (Reynolds Custom Calls) on facebook I am an admin there and I will be updating there pretty regular too.
PLEASE KEEP PRAYING!!!

Looks like he will get to keep his thumb but there will be more surgeries. Here's his update. Well don't go selling off my turkey calls yet... thanks to your prayers, the good Lord and a fine doctor I'll get to keep my thumb. Probably be more surgeries later. To know I have such good caring friends is awesome. God bless.

hoping for a full recovery, ive known him since the early 90's. don't know what happened but I think it is safe to say its something he has done a qazillon times and just got complacent this one time.

He's out of the hospital though not out of the woods...we are cautiously optimistic that he will make a full recovery but will have to go through several more surgeries.
