I noticed yesterday morning that my pup hadn't eaten his food from Wednesday night and same thing again this morning. This morning, he turned his nose up at a hotdog.. he was lethargic and just not himself so I took him to the vet. Damned if he ain't got parvo. I sure hope I caught it early and he pulls through.

Good luck with him. From what I have seen they get through parvo a lot better when they are a little older puppy like yours looks. I'm hoping I caught it early. I thought maybe the heat killed his appetite because I left him out all day Wednesday, but I crated him Thursday and he still didn't eat and I knew something was up. I never thought parvo because he hasn't thrown up or had diarrhea... I honestly thought he may be stopped up because he chews on EVERYTHING, lol.

is he part boxer?
parvo is rough on them. I dont take a pup anywhere for at least a year (parks, pet store,) when i cary it to the vet i dont put them down or leave them in the truck. they say parvo is on the ground from an infected animal for years, dont know if thats true or not. So be carefull if you get anymore pups.

He's a Mt Cur.. Vet said that noticing a change and bringing him in so quick makes a huge difference on the survival rate. He had minimal diarrhea while at the vet so he really didn't lose much weight... He bounced back pretty quick from it
