If you are on the east side of Huntsville I would highly recommend that you look for clubs east of Huntsville, preferably in Jackson County. There are lots of clubs up Paint Rock Highway (AL 65) and there are some really good deer there. Also towards Woodville and past towards Skyline WMA there are lots of clubs with good deer. Follow this forum, especially as the season nears and you will find lots of advertisements for clubs. When you find one you are interested in just post a thread asking for comments on the club and you will get the good and the bad pretty quick

Your best bet is to talk to people at work/church etc... Tons of public land around here with good hunting. If you want to hunt public, I can tell you some places to check out.
