Looking to purchase a climbing harness. I am 6'3" 240 lbs. I am willing to pay cash but I also have a youth bow for sale or trade.

Coming from a guy that teaches treestand safety, take my advice and buy a new one - not a used one. Same goes for buying stands - don't buy used. The only thing that stands between you and the ground is the equipment you use to get up the tree. It's one thing you don't want to skimp on. Buy one new, and take good care of it (don't leave it in the tree or in the back of the truck). It's one of those pieces of equipment that HAS TO work when you need it. Hope that helps.

I teach rappelling and high angel rescue for ESEE Knives and Randall's Adventure & Training in Gallant, AL. I echo slick's comment. Don't ever buy used climbing equipment. Your life's not worth the $20-$30 you'll save. Check out gearexpress.com- great prices on new gear closeouts and discontinued models. You might save the amount of money your were looking to save through this site.

What are you planning on using it for (climbing, bouldering, rappelling, arbor work)? Let me know that and I can point you in the right direction. Feel free to shoot me an email to john@randallsadventure.com.
