Can anyone recommend someone that can supply slate?

I have been ordering 4x6 pieces for about $5 a piece. This works out pretty well for me considering I am doing trough calls and don't need to cut circles, but if possible I would be interested in buying larger pieces hopefully for a better price.

Call tile supply stores or tile contractors. Either may have some that was an overstock item, seconds to standard grade or left overs from a job.

Has something to do with not being able to make any bigger due to consistency of the slate i want to say?

Any ways...Don't have the tools to plane it down from how slate usually comes at the store so pretty much got to rely on a specialty call supplier to get the thin material.

I will have some before too long. I started building them at the beginning of this year. Planning on getting some into the stream of commerce by this fall. We'll see.
