Some of my classmates when I was in HS tried to float Pine Barren creek in flood conditions and didn't make it to the take out by dark. They spent the night on the creek with their families worried sick. Then there were the guys who tried to float Weogufka creek when there was hardly any water in it. They spent the night too. At least none of them expected to go in a circle. All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

I'd imagine people that live on the western edge of the central time zone see well over an hour of daylight after I do.
