Back in the day, around here, that sonofabitch would have floated up in the river next month.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
My guess is that the film crew had to sign something stating that they would not interact or interfere in any way and only film what was happening. I suspect that they also had sign a waiver releasing the law enforcement agency and the municipality from any liability injury that might occur as a result of anything being filmed.

I am sure that is the case but I would have been fired.

Watching that bulldoodoo I was kinda hoping the cameraman would get shot in the groin. When someones life is potentially on the line, you drop the camera and help. That was nearly as bad as the thugs in Florida taunting/watching that man drown last week.

Or dead.
There are two rules for success: 1. Never tell everything you know.
Thank God there were two cops. If they'd been riding alone, there would be one dead LEO. Yeah, if I'd been the cameraman, I wouldn't give a chit about any agreement, the footage be damned. And, yes, the guy filming could have easily been shot and wounded or killed. Stupid. F*ing thugs.

The worse part on this is that bastard will probably file police brutality claim and walk away with a million bucks. That SOB should have his nuts cut out to keep him from procreating....
Lone Watie: I'm glad you stopped me when you did. I might have killed her
I would have accidentally dropped the camera on him.....and again.....and again.

I didn't understand why the cop was hitting him with palm of his hand. If he would have closed the wind pipe off properly, lights out. Hell at that point, gouge his phucking eyes out.
They are not suppose to interfere with the situations. Something similar happen a few weeks ago when a guy ran from the law rolled his car then jumped out holding his young daughter. Only one cop and he was able to get her away from him. Then a person with the film crew did get the girl away from the situation.

Exactly what I was thinking! Closed fist blows would have to be more effective. Also couldn't believe the other officer wasn't using his knee on the thug's face.
Pretty scary scenario, you could hear the intensity change when the second officer saw the gun.
The cop on the bottom latched on like a snapping turtle with that choke hold. He was wearing that head out with an open palm at the beginning. Too bad it wasn't a closed fist. It was good he had a partner with him.

If that perp had a weapon in his pocket when they were fighting on the ground that cop would be dead. 2:30 is flat out scary

Yep, I was yelling at the TV for the cop to shoot him. Later in the studio is where the host said that they are not suppose to step in. Not that I agree with it
