I decided to go with the regular Z7. The Xtreme's axle to axle is too short for my taste. Too short? Come on Sonny, really? Axle to axle length doesn't have squat to do with drawlength or a person's height, you idgit.

compounds are like a 22 rifle with a peep sight to me. Put the pin(front sight) on the target, use good form, and shoot. Same reason I find that I can teach someone to shoot a compound pretty darn fast.
I suspect that anyone who has shot some kind of bow for 20 years can do the same as me. Weekly stickbow shooting absolutely helps my compound shooting. I just don't find compounds "fun" to shoot and so don't. I do hunt with them sometimes. I hunt with a recurve (no sights) and I have to start shooting a month or so before the season to feel comfortable on opening day. 20 years ago I had to start shooting in July to be ready.

This one actually happened to me. Many years ago, 15 or so, I was hunting and a doe comes in close, less than 10 yards. I draw, put the pin on her and release.....unfortunately I was really focused on making the shot and not where the lower limb of my bow was pointing, mid thigh. I walked with a limp for a few weeks, that doe ran out about 60 yards and started blowing for 45 minutes
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

My favorite one is, mechanical heads won't fail.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
