All I can say is "Damn." Spieth showed some stones on the final 6 holes. Best golf I've watched this year.

Farmlinks gave away 797 free rounds of golf to those who picked Jordan to win. Roll Tide.

I bet that doesn't include cart,.. and you cant walk that course. so they'll still make cart money, and food and drinks. Probably not that bad of a loss.

They've already announced the PGA Championship contest. They do it for every major.

I didn't really think about it, but if what jbc said is true, I can see it making sense. I'm assuming that's got to be the case or they would be losing their arse to the tune of about $80,000

It's not losing money. It doesn't cost them anything for me to come play and they can write off $80k for marketing/whatever. Plus, if I bring someone with me that's $100 they will make, plus food, beer, etc.

Got my certificate today. It's 18 holes, green fees included, cart, use of the practice facility, and unlimited balls on the driving range and it's good through March 31, 2018. I know parker243 and nortonZ7 also won.

It's valid any day the course is open. The only limitation is after 11 am.

That's a sweet deal. I know at one time they kept a very strict limit on the number of tee times per day, something really low like 24. It was unlimited play and lunch was included. Do they still do that or have they went to a more conventional model?

I don't know for certain what their policy is, but the day we played last summer it was pretty packed and SLOW. That was the first time it had ever been that way for me though.

Not sure. My son played there last week. 36 holes and lunch/breakfast/practice range...
