I've had several, but don't remember ever catching anything on them. I did disassemble a small one, once, and "created" the first small skirted inline buzzbait I'd ever seen, only to learn that there were several already on the market.

They were situation for me. They were awesome in pepper grass.
I've never seen any in Bama, Ga or anywhere else but Texas. It grew shallow with only 1-2' of water under it. You had to retrieve it the direction the grass was laying or it would foul.

Perch I fished it in the 60's at millers ferry caught very few

Had a buddy that was fishing an Open on the James River catch 3 of the 5 he weighed in each tournament day on one of those. Swimming it in the pads.

So you can extend its effective range a little further North...
