biggest I ever killed was 364, bow kill. Ate damn good and was big enough to make bacon off it. Took two of us and tenellebenty knives to get it cleaned and packed up.

We executed him. Four of lined up across and counted down. He dropped like a rock.

2 300 black outs
1 6.5 Creedmoor
1 308

We do the same thing no matter how many pigs are out there as far as the line up. This group of hunters brought their own equipment.

Our biggest 3 boars that we actually got on the scales are 375, 363, and 345. We did kill a sow this spring that holds the record for the ladies. She hit the scales at 325.

We have had a couple other boars that were probably 350+ but we didn't have scales available.

There is a possible 400+ over in Sumter County that I would love to kill. He has a yellow ear tag in him. Someone cut him, tagged him, and released him years ago. He moves through one of my clients properties every once in a while. He is a sharp ole barr.

that's a whole lotta pig! How old do you think he would be? I'm just curious how long it would take one to get to that size. I'm sure the availability of good groceries has an impact on weight.

Now doubt on average we killed much larger pigs in row crops than we do in just wooded areas. The big one at the club last year had been eating a lot of protein from the landowner's cattle ranch next door.

No idea on the age.

If y'all haven't gone hunting with ElkHunter yet, you need to sign up and go. It's damned sure enjoyable and hot and sweaty and skeetery and lots of fun.

Do you believe the story in the news today about the one in Samson killed that supposedly weighed over 800 pounds. Sounds kind of fishy to me. The guy is a taxidermist and you would have think he would have called wildlife officials to look at such a monster but instead says he kept the head and discarded the rest.
