I'm a neat and clean compulsive type. My truck and wife's SUV gets a cleaning every week. And so does my state car that I clean on my own dime.

I got my truck on New Year's Eve last year and washed it for the first time last weekend. I forgot how good it looked clean, but probably won't see it clean again until after deer season again.

I do it twice a year. Once after deer season and once after turkey season.

Clean my truck weekly inside and out until deer and duck season comes around.

No bad smell at all. One of the guys at work has commented on that several times. I told him that the microflora in my truck had reached a level of symbiosis with the junk in my truck, so they kept the smell down.

Best thing I ever did was have Cilia Jet sprayed on inside of my truck nothing will stain it. I also have a hunting truck that is just for hunting and hauling. That one aint so clean.

Great read. My OL got me a truck detail at a local place and I had it done a few weeks ago. Forgot how nice my truck looked clean.

I wash my truck maybe twice a year, but never during deer season. Same goes for the inside. After I totaled my Tacoma (which was white in color) I said I was never buying a white truck again. Matter of fact, I told my wife I was going to buy a dirt-colored truck. Well, as it turns out I just about did. My F-150 is copper/rust colored, and is trimmed out in a tan color which makes road dirt blend in really well.

I am finally finished. In total I spent 14-16 hours working on the inside of the truck. Scrubbing the carpet took the longest time, then cleaning the leather seats took the next to longest. I used a scrub brush and Greased Lightning on the leather. If I had it to do over again, I would have removed the carpet and steam cleaned it. The carpet still has some stains but at least you can now tell it's got carpet in it. After I got done with the interior, I steam cleaned the exterior. I sprayed it down with soap from the dispenser on our steam cleaner, then I sprayed it down with straight Purple Power, then hand washed it with a new sponge.

257 has seen the exterior of it, but I don't think there are any members that have seen the interior.

I have just cleaned up the nastiest truck in America.

I used Mean Green, Greased Lightning and Purple Power on the truck. Purple Power is the best one.

Brad, next time just take it to David Black and he'll strip the inside and it'll be like new when you get it back.

He'd surely have charged me $500 to clean mine.

He used to get $175 and took 2 days for a complete detail....... remove seats, carpet, etc pressure wash or steam clean (whatever is needed) and wash/wax/buff the exterior. He cleans cars for dealers before they put them on the lot. When he's done there is no crevice inside/outside the vehicle that hasn't been cleaned.

Dang, I wish I had known that eariler. Where is he located? I'll need to know next time.
