Also the biggest waves I have ever driven through in a bass boat was in Ontario. Go down in a trough then gun it to climb to the top, couldn't see land either.

Those boat Captains from up there really know how to drive a boat. I was with one on Santee one day when a hurricane came ashore. There were waves bigger than 12'. There are channel markers on telephone poles that extended 12 ft above the water and they went completely under. He knew that the proper speed is the most important factor. A whole bunch of boats got torn up that day. Windshields and trolling motors ripped off by spearing waves. The water is so dangerous and speed used unwisely compounds the danger.

Hard to believe clouds hurt fishing unless it was pad fishing. Clouds and wind mean spinnerbait bite in most places. i was listening to ike live awhile back and they said you want the sun to be out they said it fires the small mouth up
