IMO, the only advantage to once fired brass would be IF it was fired in the weapon being loaded for. Otherwise there is no advantage.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Agree with the afore post. If you are loading for the firearm (bolt action)it was fired from the brass will be fireformed to chamber. I usually just neck size after once fired and have never had any problems. I recommend full length sizing every time on semi-auto firearms.
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

That makes a lot of sense. Was just wondering why folks wanted once fired brass when new brass is readily available. Because they're trying to get a good deal. For a gun I'm looking for great accuracy out of, I always start with new, same lot # brass. For a gun that good huntin accuracy will do, range pick up, same head stamp will do.
