My wife and I did a bunch of yard work today in the heat and decided to go eat at Taco Mama after we cooled off. Blake Sims was parked beside us and he walked in to eat as well. I went up to him and told him I really appreciated watching him play. He was very humble and said "Thank you, sir."
He didn't have a flashy car, a crazy wardrobe, or an entourage with him. He's one of my favorite players on the Saban era. He never got in trouble, he changed positions multiple times, had a HORRIBLE spring game as a QB and everybody just knew that Jake Coker would be the starter but Blake put in a lot of hard work that summer and won the team over.
FSU fans should be worried, I'm betting that he's going to be practicing as the scout team QB trying to mimic FSU's mobile QB...

Since his eligibility is used up, I've got nothing bad to say about him. That is a rare compliment for a bammer coming from me. Seems like a good kid who didn't quit on his team when he ran into a hurdle or two. You've got to respect that.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I always liked him too. I've never met him, but was always seemed like a good dude with a great attitude and work ethic.

Cool. I enjoyed watching him play, too. Always respected him.
