You can also do a drawing each weekend for aldeer members to come out and shoot them for you. You set up the shooting house and bait and let the guys come for free.

Fence them out....literally the only way. Believe me.

Has to be. Even with trapping, new ones move in, and from what I've read, shooting a few won't do anything long term.

I think you really need to take into consideration the property’s location in relation to the main source of pigs when deciding what strategy would be best. This is what I see where I live..... The properties that are located along the major creek drainage through this part of the county are covered up with pigs and there’s no such thing as getting rid of them. The further out you get from that major creek drainage though…..the less prevalent pigs become. I’ve only had one run in with them here on my place over the years despite having neighbors just 2 miles away that trap them one after another. I’d deal with them differently in each location. All I had to do was shoot at the ones on my place and they left…..that strategy wouldn’t work on the neighbors land. It’s all relative.

Yall think it would even be worth trying to plant or do you think the hogs well just come through and root it all up. Last week I got 20 hogs on deer cam at one time over a trophy rock

Stop putting our corn if you are doing it. Shoot the piss out of them and give Bayed up and Hogwild access to your property to come in and run them with dogs. If you shoot them hard and run them enough, they will leave and go someplace where they are not being harassed on a daily basis. Get a high capacity gun like an AR and kill as many as you can when you have the opportunity.

Drill a hole thru your trophy rock and mount it on a post where they can't reach it, but the deer can. Either fence, or trap the entire sounder.

I've heard of taking a drum of corn and soakinh it with battery acid, then letting it sour for a few weeks before dumping it out. Because it's soured, hogs are the only thing that will eat it. Of course, that's highly illegal, so I don't recommend it.

We quit planting winter peas and it has helped with keeping the pigs off our feilds.
