Appreciate the input , still scratching my head... deer didn't eat them, I have 1.5 acres of iron clay mix around them that are pretty as can be I've never planted peas; however, thought I have read they won't touch them until a certain point, but will take them out quickly once they reach a,certain stage. Tell that to the stubs in my field. Lol
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

You can spray 5x rate of gly on RR beans and not hurt them. Cuz I'm afraid you had something in your sprayer or something else wrong. I agree with this statement. Something wasn't right. Might have been the seed or something else wrong with the spray mix. 22 gallons at 2oz/gallon is not too much. When spraying 11 gallons per acre.

If you only had 2 acres of soybeans, I feel the deer may have wiped them out. That's not enough acreage to produce beans with deer around. Did you actually go out into the field and look at the ground for stubs of the beans? Or did you see the plant wilted and yellow/brown? I tried a 1.5 acre patch and got it looking good, and the deer came in and started at the ends of the rows, and chomped them down to the dirt like a vaccuum cleaner going down the rows. In 4-5 days! I knew better, but had to try again. That was an expensive waste. God Bless, David B.

I'm on my 2nd planting of 2 acres of beans. First planting was demolished once the beans got 4 to 5 inches tall. I used my planter the first time and they simply went down each row. The second time I mixed in 50 pounds of WMS Pea Patch and 100 pounds of Ag beans. I broadcast this planting to ensure I would have a thicker stand. It's well on its way to failure also. I didn't think I had very many deer on my home place but I'm quickly realizing other wise. There are 10 to 12 deer in this field every day at multiple and various times. They are working the field over hard.

Did you actually go out into the field and look at the ground for stubs of the beans? Or did you see the plant wilted and yellow/brown? I had basically the same question with following this thread. Did you take any pictures? When I came back a week later everything was DEAD. When I came back there was pretty much nothing there, so I can't say if they turned yellow or not.. Appreciate the input , still scratching my head... deer didn't eat them,

Do you have a bag or a ticket where you bought the seed? They should replace the seed or refund the money at the least. If they sold/loaded wrong seed then yes. Otherwise until proven no.

I looked for the chart I had; it was actually just a link to an article put out by NC State, but it was several years old and they had taken it down. But even if Cornerstone isn't ideal, I don't think it would have killed any RR crop at the rate you used. If you didn't take pics, I guess it will remain a mystery.

When I came back there was pretty much nothing there, so I can't say if they turned yellow or not.. Okay, with that info added I'm going with deer ate them. One week after spraying Glyphosate at any normal concentration would not have yielded nothing left in the field. I sprayed my garden spot mid week last week with 2 quarts of name brand Roundup PowerMax in a 15 gallon sprayer. Six days later, there's some sure enough sick looking nutgrass and morning glorys out there, but they're yellow, not gone.

Them disappearing in a week says deer did it. I've sprayed thousands of gallons of roundup at all different rates and never had a kill like that in that amount of time.

I don't have any science to back this up, but when I was planting soybeans for deer, they really jumped on them right after I sprayed RU. I think once the weeds and grass started to wilt, they could pick the bean leaves out easier without getting a mouthful of junk with them.
