Obviously, she listens well because she did not learn about the game from playing it. Generally, she is correct in what she says, but it does lose some of its impact when you know it is second hand knowledge.

What's the difference Joe Buck calls the game , then has someone who actually played the game at the MLB level doing the technical speak. Those two women aren't professional sports announcers or former MLB players. Get them the hell out of the booth!

As a former baseball player I like her in the booth. There are a lot of similarities between baseball and softball as far as the fundamentals of the game go. She can comment from experience on things like throwing ahead of runners, backing up bases, and some situational things like when to sac bunt. Even things about mechanics like hit the top half of the ball when you need to hit a ground ball. I think she does a good job, and as qualified as any female can be. I've never thought she doesn't know what she's talking about. Like I said, she is just regurgitating what someone else told her, but that is what any female analyst is doing and she does it as well as any female could without Mowin's voice. As long as she doesn't start telling us about the time she faced Greg Maddox in batting practice and roped him I can live with her. I can't stand a woman doing play by play on football.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

That show was funny. Incredibly raunchy, but funny. Hank Azira has the broadcaster voice down pat. If you haven't watched Brockmire, it is a cult classic in the making.
