A buddy of mine went down to Gulf Shores & the Mobile area recently & came back w/some Calcutta sunglasses & a visor ... Looks like nice stuff, but just curious to know how it holds up ...

Anybody tried these products & can comment? Their prices are mighty tempting (aka cheap)... Apparently their stuff is in a grocery store in Guntersville & another place in Wetumpka ...

Thx in advance,
BGD

Have a pair of their fishing sunglasses for 5-6 years and work great. Blue mirror. Couple shirts.

I have a visor now and have had a pair of their sunglasses. Good products and their offshore tackle is top notch. Plus in my opinion they have the coolest logo of anybody in the business.

I have their shades too. Had them a couple of years. Who would have thought you could still buy a t shirt less than $30. The also have the thermal glasses like the yeti for about half the price of the afore mentioned tumbler. They have performance fishing shirts for $29 instead of $40 like everyone else.

Cool; thx for the feedback, guys!!

Did most of you order online from them? I asked about local retailers & there are none close to me.

I've been wearing their sunglasses for 4-5 years and have been pleased.

What was the name of the store in Guntersville?

Keller's just across the line on 431 has them and is where I got mine. It is north of Guntersville a few miles. May be a place in town though that I'm not aware of.

I have a backpack tackle bag from them I have used for several years with no complaints. It has been very durable.

I bought a couple packs of 4" crawfish in the tomato color and wore bass out. Haven't seen any since.

I knew Cooley's stocked Calcutta but it always slips my mind that he has a Guntersville address. The store is actually in Union Grove. I can walk across the horse pasture behind my house and basically be in his parking lot.

Wow, cool! Let me know what all he carries... I might have to make a roadtrip to Cooley's!! I want to check out some of their products in person first before ordering online...

I don't head up that way very often so I have no knowledge about his dad. I'm not sure I would recognize Doug if I seen him out somewhere else. I usually stay on the lower end of the lake or below the dam on the far upper end of Wheeler. First time I stopped in there, I think they were already in their current building. That was around 1996 or so.
