What is the process for legally transferring a handgun from A Resident of Alabama to a Resident of Florida? Can I meet the person at an FFL in Florida and have the Handgun transferred on the spot?

You need to ask someone with an FFL that question. My assumption based on what little knowledge I have is that you would need an FFL from your state to transfer it to an FFL in Florida.

Yes, you can do that. Or just ship it to his FFL

Shipper doesn't need FFL just has to ship to an FFL .

Shipper doesn't need FFL just has to ship to an FFL .

No the shipper doesn't need an FFL but the FedEx and ups locations around here require you to have a copy of the receiving dealers FFL to prove you are shipping to an FFL. They even give me a hard time with it and I have an FFL. I have a buddy that ships daily from his mechanic shop and I just take them by there and he ships them for me. I get a better rate too.
