No, it's not too late, if you can find the plants, but you need to get them in the ground soon. If you find plants let me know, I'd like to put more in the ground.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Several years ago we canned a lot of stuff. There was a tomato farm just below the state line we used a lot. We had a late winter and didn't have a bad frost so I checked with the farm on Dec 22 and they said they had the fields open. I went up there and picked almost 250 pounds of good tomatoes. WOW! That is impressive! I have three suckers I picked off my plants that I put in a grow box this week. It is located in a spot where I can better control the BLAZING HOT summer sun and has easy access to water. In addition, I put three more suckers in a bottle to root for hubby's garden. I had fresh tomatoes at Thanksgiving last year!!!
Be kind to one another and tell the ones you love that you love them often. We never know what tomorrow will bring.

My daddy always planted what he called late tomatoes. We would pick all the tomatoes before the first frost and we would put them in the basement until we used them. We ate a lot of fried green tomatoes, one of my favorites still!
When Halloween rolled around, my buddies and I would pick green ones and use these instead of eggs. We had a blast with the tomatoes and they didn't cost us a penny. That was in my days of mischief, but we had a blast with em.
I can't stand a thief.
