Maggie123 OP Doe Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 1,309 USA	My husband and I have been arguing about the top and the bottom of a tomato...the actual fruit of the plant. Which end do YOU call the top? My husband says the stem end is the top and I say the flower end is the top. My dad had a grocery store all my life and sold produce and I never heard the butt end of the tomato called the top; it was always the bottom and when we displayed tomatoes to sell, we were told top end up or butt end [I considered that bottom] down for display. We are both "googlin" it for answers and I have actually seen some say the stem end as the top. So, what say you? What do you call it?? Be kind to one another and tell the ones you love that you love them often. We never know what tomorrow will bring.
