Yesterday I had White wing dove visit my feeder here in Gulf Breeze. The first one I have seen in years.
Grandma said...Always keep a gun close at hand, you just never know when you might run across some varmint that needs killing...

Never seen one this far east, but when my rig was off of Galveston, the migrations used to stop over on board for a day or two before moving on...THOUSANDS of them! You'd know they were coming because a day or two before they arrived, hawks and falcons would arrive and take up station in our derrick, waiting for them! Then for a few days, you'd start finding heads and wings all over the place, from where the raptors were taking their kills back into the derrick to eat.
Well behaved women never make history.~ Out back Quit laughing...I think I broke something.
Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby...
I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.
