There is a 77 acre for lease not far from downtown Flomaton. So that would mean bow hunting only I would assume, and it is also boat access only by the Big Escambia Creek. It is intriguing, but more work than I would do. If anyone is interested molpus.com has it listed. Someone else turned me on this property, but not what I was looking for.

That property will flood every time it rains much. 77 acres can turn into 30 real quick.

What is the law about hunting small dry ridges in a flooded swamp? The following are prohibited methods of hunting in the State of Alabama as condensed from the laws and regulations. Consult the Alabama Game, Fish and Wildlife Law Book and the Wildlife & Freshwater Fisheries Regulation Book for the entire law or regulation.
It is ILLEGAL to:
12. Hunt resident birds or animals on any floodwaters or backwaters, or islands less than 40 acres created by such. http://www.eregulations.com/alabama/guide/prohibited-methods-hunting/
