I have a thermapen and and thermopop. I can't tell much difference other than I like the folding action of the pen. The Pop was around $25 and the Pen was about $75 I think.
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I use my bbq guru with great results. Saws pit and food temp while regulating air flow and temp.

I have a folding Taylor. Works great and was around 10 bucks.
