I don't understand but I shot my bow yesterday and it seems like the draw length is to short, like a inch. I put a drop away arrow rest made by QAD Ultra-Rest. The cord that lifts the rest attaches to the cables of the bow. I tried adjusting it but that doesn't seem to be helping. I have a single cam bow, can a string stretching cause the draw length to get short? Just seems odd I may have had this short draw seance I got a new string put on last and not noticed it.

No, not that short. When you had it restrung, it's possible that they did not install the new string back on the cam pegs the old string was on. What is your draw length supposed to be? What pegs are the string on now. I can tell you if it's set wrong with that info.

Look at the letters on the bottom cam. Does it say Z-DDR-HL or Z-CCR-HL?

The cam has Z-CCL-HL.
It's a lefthand bow. I took it to the store that replaced the string. The guy that works on bows was off, so I am taking it back to them one day next week.

The string is on the correct posts for a 29" draw. If the cable has stretched it will shorten the draw some (1/4 to 3/8") and you'll lose draw weight.

That adds up. I noticed that the sights had to be set further apart than before. And I checked the speed yesterday and it's about 15 fps slower. I am taking it to the bow shop and get them check the string. The string is two years old. Thanks for the help.

I had the string replaced. It's like a new bow, fast, smooth and the correct draw length.
