Any real world experience with these? I'm looking for a new higher capacity 9 and this one is leading the race.

I've had one for a couple years. I probably own 20 handguns and it's still my overall favorite to shoot. I also just picked up a VP9SK for cc and love it so far.

You might want to wait till July to buy one. HK is giving you 3 extra mags with the purchase of a VP9 or P30 starting in July.

The magazine release is weird and the magazines are rather costly.
They're good guns but a little complicated compared to a Sig 320 or Glock 17.

I like them. I like the Sig 320. Can't make up my mind which I like better. I was told there is supposed to be a compact version of the VP9 coming out.
The mag release is unusual

Nice guns but a G19 is still king.Just a little water in the FP channel and the VP9 won't fire.

How easily is the SK concealed? Really looking hard at these, but for reason you mentioned, been waiting until July

It conceals about as well as a glock 19. If I'm being honest it's much closer to compact than subcompact but I really like the gun.

Look around and you can find tests where it failed. Not wise to put too much stock into youtube tests anyway, for or against. Saw a test recently where a Hi Point beat a Glock in a torture test. I'm still not trading my Glocks for Hi-Points.

I like the VP9 but I can't find any reason yo buy one over a G19,and several reasons (for me) to pick the G19.I'm glad to see a test where the VP9 does well however since I may want one sometime.

I like the way the VP9 feels in the hand and the trigger is as good as a Glock after a trigger bar replacement. If they had made it slightly smaller than a G19 and kept the capacity,I would pick it over the G19. Right now it may be a great range pistol but it's the size of a G17, which is a little larger than I want to conceal carry everyday. If I just wanted it for a home gun or range gun, there's a bunch competing with it that would be good for the same purpose.

Me either. I own a few of the older H&Ks. But the new H&Ks (The grip) look similar to Highpoint lol, I don't like em....

I have one and I like it a lot. Trigger is much better than a Gen4 Glock. I'm lefthanded, so I'm partial to the controls as well. Other than that it just points and shoots fine.

Well guys, fondled an HK vp9 this morning. Really nice weapon, great trigger. Also held the Sig p320, very nice as well. The Sig felt better in my hand, that's the one I took home.

Is the Sig p320 smaller than the VP9?

The compact P320 is smaller. The VP9 is a 15+1, the Sig P320 compact is also a 15+1. When you go to the VP9 sk to get the smaller weapon, it drops to a 10+1 which was a deal breaker.

Amazing how a thread asking about HK leads to a Glock fanboy chirping in with nothing positive to add to the discussion.
